All paths lead to Wagga

Wagga Wagga Masters Games - 8 May 2017

All paths lead to Wagga

In less than two months registrations for an expected 1000 participants from across the country will converge on the City of Wagga Wagga to compete in the inaugural 2017 Wagga Wagga Masters Games, scheduled to take place between the 6th and 8th of October.

The sponsors are locked in, the entertainment is booked and the various sporting groups that help make up the Masters Games event are putting final touches to their volunteer lists and scheduling set ups.

Participants as far away as Perth, Darwin, the Gold Coast, Tasmania and Melbourne have all registered to be part of the inaugural group of participants over the age of 30 to travel to, and compete in, the inaugural Masters Games event.

The first weekend in October the city will be awash with participants, visiting local watering holes, purchasing momentos of their time in the city, and off course running out onto the field alongside their longtime or newly formed teammates in the sport of their choice.

The Athletes Village, located at the Wagga Showground, will be buzzing as friends, family and participants themselves converge to relax, dance the nights away and enjoy the live entertainment organized across the weekend.

With just over 50-days until registrations for the exciting new events close competitors, teams and interested spectators have limited precious time to secure their position in the event as all Paths begin to lead to Wagga Wagga.
