Join us on Sunday 8th October 2017 at Bolton Park from 3pm as we look to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the most participants in a Three-Legged-Race.
The GUINNESS WORLD RECORD we are attempting to break is for the Largest Three-Legged-Race Most Pairs (Single Location) which has been set at 649 pairs (1398 participants) by the Isle of Man in Douglas, Isle of Man, on 6 May 2013.
Our attempt is open to everyone within the local community, and is not just restricted to participants of the 2017 WAGGA WAGGA MASTERS GAMES, nor is it restricted to those aged over 30. You are all invited to join us in the last 'official' event on the WAGGA WAGGA MASTERS GAMES Schedule.
Come together as a community, as sporting fans, as people who are proud to call WAGGA WAGGA home and help us break the record.
At the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT we will be drawing our raffle, of which tickets will be on sale all weekend, a community BBQ will be on offer and other fun stuf throughout the day all in the name of raising money for our nominated charity beyondblue.
Even if you are from out of town, travelling for the event, you have the opportunity to head home with a Wagga Wagga Masters Games Gold Medal and a Guinness World Record next to your name.
Participants, non-playing officials and registered spectators will have the opportunity to purchase VIP TREATMENT at the attempt, VIP TREATMENT is being sold for $5.00 in our addon section when you go through the payment section of the registration. VIP TREATMENT gets you the following benefits:
All VIP Treatment 'packages' sold will see the entire $5.00 amount donated directly to beyondblue. For people turning up for our attempt on the day that would like to assist in our efforts to raise $5000 for beyondblue Sausage Sizzles will be sold for $1.00, and icy-cold Big Spring Water for $1.00 with all funds going directly to beyondblue.
Your support to the fundraising efforts of the 2017 Wagga Wagga Masters Games would be greatly appreciated.
